When Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn't finish the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway on Sunday, it was the 4th time in his career that he had two straight races with DNF's [did not finish]. At Texas in 2000 after two straight DNF's Earnhardt won; At Phoenix in 2004, he won; At Indy in 2006 he finished 6th; and at Las Vegas in 2007.....? (from espn)
